Social Failings

In the new age where phones and computers rule the roost, there seem to be a few social failings in society and in whatever community we are in, whether it be school or the workplace. But what are the social failings associated with the internet and media in general.

Well first of all we create a divide between friends, the digital era has led people to completely ignore each other, instead they just finish the level on angry birds or text their mates. This unsociable nature caused by technology reverberates throughout cities across the world, the mentality that it is better to text than to speak seems to be becoming prevalent. We are losing the idea about what we are on earth for.

We need to realise there are some things that a mobile phone can't sort out and indeed there are some things that are more important than getting a higher score on doodle jump.

Interaction is an important part of growing up and finding friends  and believe it or not some friends may not be made on the internet, but the ones who you can approach with any problem are the friends you need.

As Muhammad Ali once said "Friendship... is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything".
